I must admit, I don't know much about Bordentown as a community, but having visited the Mastoris Diner early on in our journey and now visiting the nearby Town and Country, I would consider moving to the small Trenton suburb based on their diners alone. Practically across the street from the legendary Mastoris, we wondered if their was an underground tunnel so the two diners could share food, or at least do a recipe swap. The Town and Country had a very welcoming atmosphere and exceptional quality food. Celebrating their anniversary, they offered an array of specials - full steaks, swordfish and more all for $10. The chicken parm special was calling to me and was exceptional. Even more delectably irresistible though was the vast assortment of deserts. All sorts of cheesecakes - chocolate strawberry, double oreo, pineapple - anything you could think of and each one better than the one before. We seem to agree that the Arlington Diner has the best cheesecake we've ever tasted, but the Town and Country has the widest variety of cheesecakes, all tempting in their caloric goodness. Aesthetically, the Town & Country is a quintessential mega diner featuring recessed ceiling panels with changing LED lighting in them, mirrors and contemporary design chandeliers everywhere. The spacious diner also has a beautiful mural of old Bordentown when it was a farm village. If you ever find yourself lost in Bordentown, your biggest problem will be deciding between the Mastoris and the Town and Country.
